Well in my experience the term means to take a deep breath and count to ten before breathing out slowly, this is a great metaphor think before over- reacting in the negative sense of the word and not to regret your actions take the time to think and act wisely!
Well in mediation it teaches you to calm the mind down and relax to feel the full potential of inner peace, inner happiness bringing you great health benefits and reaching your full potential positively.
